Default Re: The Greatest Old Skool Kung Fu Movies Of ALL Time!

drunken master would not be even in my top#30..it does not have any build up of tension, just moving from one action scene to another(but they are very well made).Snake in the eagles shadow I would prolly choose into often changing:p top5,it`s jackie at his best.watched it last nite 108th time, timeless classic.

Default Best old skool

Having just joined up and looking through all your posts, I agree with most of them. A couple of questions: Are Billy Chong movies actually that good? Ive heard loads about them but never got one. Also is 7 Grandmasters really that good?

A couple of movies I would include to the already extensive lists are ones which I will be reviewing for the HK and cult film news website.

Shaolin Plot. Huang Feng directed Sammo action directed with Chen Sing and Casanova Wong, choreography is up there with Warriors 2, et al

Revenge of the Shaolin Master. being a huge admirer of the man Tan Tao Liang, this really lives up to the billing of Yuen Woo Ping action choreography. Constant action, every fight is brilliant

Look out for the views of both coming soon!

chrystal fist is really good.and billy is taught by our rednose Simon Yuen, worth getting definitely:D
Kung-Fu zombie was ghastly IMO but bet I there are people around who love it.
about 7 grandmasters..Well I dun rate it that high.Story is extremely thin, acting sucks, costumes and sets look cheap. But if you do not care about those then it`s your film.there is lots of fighting and really well made.

Just purchased Shaw Brothers 'Killer Army' on DVD and I understand that Kuo Chui (aka Philip Kwok) was in charge of the action. I allowed a friend to view it first (he begged me) so I'll have to wait a couple days to view it.
So Far the only person to mention Wu Tang Death Squad. And Ninja vs Ninja is not the worst film. Nine Demons has that honor.
